Combination of properties in polycarbonate such as high transparency, high impact and fracture resistance, high heat resistance, good dimensional stability, good electrical insulation property, readily recyclable, and excellent process ability, has made it a popular choice for customers in many fields and it is an ideal choice for safety and security glazing to suit a wide range of applications.
PC hollow sheets, produced by high quality extrusion machines, have both indoor and outdoor applications, while for outdoor applications, a special cap layer of UVPC materials is applied on one or both sides of the sheets.
PC hollow sheets are also being produced in different embossed. Both sides of the plain sheets are covered with special surface protection films, while the film on the UV side of the sheet is printed, showing some guidelines regarding storage and handling of the sheets.

PC hollow sheets have very good optical quality and are easy to handle and show an exceptional low and high temperature performance, from -40°C up to +120°C. They have excellent mechanical, thermal and electrical properties. Their impact strength is 250 times a more than glass and are almost unbreakable. They have good formability and their recycling is easy. As they are inflammable, they have found wide applications in the construction industry.
